Ode to the HEMI: Why Women Love Chrysler’s New HEMI® V8

We may not always be able to control our husbands and our kids, but behind the wheel of a HEMI powered vehicle, we feel we have the power and control to rule the world…or at least the road.

Time to accessorize ladies with Mopar! We call it getting Mopar’d and you can even become a Moparian.  Imagine arriving at the 2012 Victoria’s Secret fashion show driving an accessorized vehicle with a V8 HEMI, it will stop every man in his tracks; the heads turn and the brows lift even some will stand on tippy toes to check you out.  The gawkers will forget all about the super models in lingerie.  Not only do you look good your HEMI sounds good.

There’s nothing quite like stomping the gas pedal…feeling that incredible surge of power as the car lifts…and hearing that distinctive HEMI growl. A word of caution: all that power and adrenalin can be habit forming.

Of course, not all women will crave the power and performance of the new HEMI® V8s. But by making them more fuel-efficient and available in a variety of Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep cars, trucks and SUVs, Chrysler is enticing women to consider the added fun and excitement of driving one. More and more women are falling in love with the new generation HEMI V8.

The legendary HEMI® V8 with Fuel Saver Technology is available in several different 2012 models, including the Chrysler 300, the Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Ram trucks, Dodge Durango, and Dodge Magnum wagon.  The biggest HEMI of them all is the 6.4 Liter HEMI® V8. It generates a mind-blowing 470 horsepower and is rated for 23 highway miles per gallon.

As Editor in Chief for HerHighway.com I have had the honor of driving all of these bad boys (girls)!  The sound of the tires burning off the pavement and the forward thrust of the vehicle from the pure power of the HEMI is thrilling every time.  Falling in love with one of the new HEMI powered Chrysler vehicles is as easy as a test drive.
