When two creative powerhouses like John Varvatos and the Chrysler brand partner on a project, the results can be extraordinary. Case in point, the 2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition, a sleek and sexy ride that embodies a rock ‘n’ roll heart, the toughness of Detroit, and the cool confidence of New York City.
At its recent unveiling during New York Fashion Week (Sept. 6 – 13), the newest, most fashionable 300C not only inspired positive reactions, it became the subject of actual artwork as well. With the car as her muse, noted chalk artist Tracy Lee Stum rendered a fitting portrait of the vehicle on the sidewalk outside the John Varvatos New York City location at Bowery & Bleecker. The picture took more than 20 hours to complete, with the artist needing every minute to capture in stunning 3D detail the commanding presence of the 2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition.
The process of the chalk art’s creation has been documented in the time-lapse video below. As for the artist’s muse—the 2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition—you can learn more about it by staying tuned, in coming weeks, to the Chrysler Forward Look.
