More Great Road Trip Destinations

Back in April, when summer road trips were still only in the planning stages, we suggested five terrific vacation spots to take the whole family. Now that summer is in full swing, we’re adding three more places to the list—because when you own a Chrysler Town & Country, it’s a shame not to get it (and the family) out on the road as often as you can.

If you’re heading to Florida, be sure to plan a day trip to Silver Springs—Nature’s Theme Park. Take a glass-bottom river cruise, or explore the diversity of animals and nature that’s hard to top. There are rides and family-friendly activities, as well as shopping and dining.

Heading toward the Pacific Northwest? Step inside the Seattle Aquarium to explore some of the most unusual creatures of Puget Sound and the Washington Coast. When you enter, you’ll be greeted by the 120,000-gallon exhibit “Window on Washington Waters.” From marine mammals to shore birds to the environment in which they live, you will be learning as you explore.

Looking for a more relaxing, beach destination? The Outer Banks of North Carolina may be the answer. The Outer Banks house some of America’s most history-rich scenery. And if you’re planning to travel with a four-legged friend, it’s good to know many of the beaches are dog-friendly.

Finally, here’s a list of our favorite road trip games. With your family occupied by these, you’ll be free to enjoy the faultless ride of the Chrysler Town & Country.
