What’s New for 2012 – Improving the Breed

It’s the start of the new model year, but our engineers and designers have been hard at work for the past six months, making subtle enhancements to each of our award winning nameplates. Here’s what you’ll find when you head out to your local dealer to see the 2012 Chrysler lineup.

300 – For 2012, the 300 receives an all new available eight-speed automatic transmission – the first to be offered by a domestic automaker. This innovative powertrain contributes to its “Best in Class” EPA estimated 31 highway mpg when mated to the 292 horsepower 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine. We’ve also added a new 300S and 300C Luxury Series which expands the progression of the “Letter” nameplate with more personality and style.

200 After taking the market by storm last year, the 200 offers exceptional value for buyers on a tight budget who don’t want to sacrifice luxury and comfort. New this year, buyers will find lower entry level pricing along with two new stunning exterior colors, aptly named Crystal Blue Pearl Coat and Deep Auburn. Your neighbors will notice those deep, rich shimmering hues when you come rolling up in the driveway. Their jaws will also drop when you tell them how little you paid for it.

Town & Country – is now much more than just “family transportation.” Our product folks have made it even more refined by adding a standard rear-seat DVD player along with leather-trimmed seats on all 2012 models. Now those lengthy road trips will fly by for everyone riding inside. On the outside, there are some new colors to choose from such as True Blue, Cashmere Pearl and Crystal Blue.

Make sure to check back later as we’ll explore all the new features in detail of our 2012 lineup.
