Spring Fest 7 – You Going?

Chrysler 300 at Spring Fest 6

While some of you are trudging your prized rides through a wintery mix of snow and salt, there is a group of passionate Chrysler enthusiasts and owners in sunny Southern California who have the good fortune of driving their tricked out Chrysler 300’s in beautiful weather every day. They are also preparing to host one of the largest gatherings of like-minded, late-model Chrysler gearheads from all over the world.

The 7th annual LX Spring Fest is scheduled for Saturday March 24 at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine. This former Marine Corps Air Station will once again serve as the backdrop for owners to let loose and test out their mods along the half-mile runways that once handled F-4 Phantom jets.  They’ll also see and chat with the folks from Mopar® along with numerous aftermarket companies that support the LX community.

The LX Spring Fest was a collaboration among a group of dedicated Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Magnum owners from the SoCal LX car club. Their main mission was to create a network and exchange ideas on customization and personalization along with “go-fast” parts for the 5.7L and 6.1L HEMI® engines among other enthusiasts. Seven years later, that still holds true.

This grassroots movement blossomed as the word quickly spread organically via internet forums and websites to owners all over the globe that this was the event to attend as it was dedicated to their modern Chrysler vehicles. As a matter of fact, you can check out all the action from Spring Fest 6, as it was one of the largest attended events.

If you’ve never attended, put it on your “Bucket List” and make plans to head west. It’s not just a bunch people hanging out talking cars but more of a lifestyle with the closeness of a family reunion of fellow Chrysler enthusiasts brought together for their passion of the brand.
