In the latest submission for our Chrysler vehicle owner’s corner – Real People, Real Stories – a volunteer holds a raffle for her beloved Crossfire to benefit Maine families.
My 2007 Chrysler Sebring is in a parking lot because there is a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT Convertible parked in my garage. As difficult as it has been logistically to transport my two boys whilst driving a two-seater, driving the Crossfire is completely worth it; for the power and the cause. In December 2011, I became a volunteer for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Maine. One of the endeavors NAMI wished to pursue was a car raffle. After months of researching the legal requirements and applying for a special license, NAMI Maine received approval to hold a car raffle beginning April 30, 2012. I will miss driving the Crossfire after the winner is drawn on June 30th, 2012, but I know this car will make someone incredibly happy and benefit Maine families.
