There is no telling exactly how many auto artifacts have been produced in the long history of Chrysler. What we do know is that, since 1999, the Walter P. Chrysler Museum has been home to many of the most invaluable, including 67 vintage vehicles.
Now that the museum is closed to public visitation, we would like to extend a warm thank you to all the volunteers who helped make it a favorite destination for car buffs and casual fans alike.
To the museum itself, we offer up a final tribute in the form of a Forward Look Photo Album. Our hope is to capture in pictures a small but significant sense of the heritage, history, and innovation that were on display for more than a decade in the hallowed galleries of the Walter P. Chrysler Museum.
A final note: ownership of all 67 vehicles will pass from the museum to the Chrysler Group LLC, which will continue to care for the collection and preserve it for posterity.
