There’s little doubt that auto shows make excellent venues for unveiling limited-edition models and for showing off concept vehicles. But they also provide us the opportunity to speak face-to-face with the people we care about most—current and potential Chrysler customers.
When the North American International Auto Show opened to the public recently, we set out for Cobo Hall in downtown Detroit to gather feedback from show-goers, who—in our experience—are often some of the most well-informed and discerning customers we could ever hope to have. Here are responses we gathered from just a few of the people in attendance.
Carrie B. has never owned a minivan let alone a Chrysler Town & Country. Nonetheless she found herself attracted to the sleek styling of the 2013 Chrysler Town & Country S. “It’s a pretty cool looking minivan,” she said. “I like the Blu-ray player and just the whole look of it.” Carrie was quick to point out that the Town and Country S is practical as well. Referring to the Stow ’N Go® seating, she remarked, “Some of my coworkers have it, and they like it. The seats fold down and you can make the whole thing flat.”
Given the fact Lynn and Rick S. own a 2013 Chrysler 200 and a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, it’s probably safe to assume they are fans of Chrysler Group vehicles in general. So, it’s no surprise that when they spotted the new Chrysler 300 Glacier Edition, they just had to stop by and take a look.
Rick was especially impressed with the Glacier’s fuel economy. “You get pretty good gas mileage in this,” he said. “It’s such a big car and you get 27 miles per gallon. That’s not too bad.” As for Lynn, she had only nice things to say about the vehicle’s exterior. “It’s just a classy look,” she said. Lynn and Rick were also excited to check out the 2013 Chrysler 300 Motown Edition, citing the white interior as one major reason for their interest.
