Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Luxury Edition| Intern Spotlight

The hardworking spirit that shines through Chrysler vehicles is also evident in Chrysler brand interns. Every summer we bring in a group of students with a passion for learning and let them participate in the day-to-day business of the different departments here at the Chrysler brand headquarters.

The best way to learn is through experience, so we wanted to give our hardworking interns the chance to experience the thrill of driving a Chrysler vehicle firsthand. In this series, the Chrysler Intern Spotlight, we’ll follow several members of our team as they get behind the wheel of some of your favorite Chrysler vehicles.

This month we meet two interns who were each given a Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Luxury Edition to cruise around in for a few days.

First, we meet marketing intern Tyler Hoffman, a business administration major from the University of Michigan who was excited to experience the finer things in life behind the wheel of the Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Luxury Edition.

During the two-day test-drive Tyler took the 300C for a spin, showing off his impressive ride through the streets of his hometown, the Detroit suburb of Grosse Pointe. He told us, “It was fun to pull up to dinner in a nice car!”

The 300 offers more than 70 safety and security features, with available Safety Tec Adaptive Cruise Control with Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring and Cross-Path Detection System. “The adaptive cruise control was an amazingly smooth and well-engineered feature. It’s good to see the Chrysler brand invest in such technologies.”

When it comes time for Tyler to make an automotive investment of his own, he hopes to one day debut the Chrysler 300C as his daily driver. After all was said and done Tyler’s test-drive served as motivation to keep his eye on the prize: “The 300C Varvatos Edition certainly gives me a reason to try hard in school!”

Next, we meet supply chain management intern Ajay Gokhale, who got a taste of luxury when he hopped behind the wheel of the Chrysler 300C. The finance and economics major from University of Michigan had high expectations for his test-drive: “I was most looking forward to seeing how the John Varvatos Luxury Edition compared to the base model Chrysler 300. I was also interested to see how artistic flair and urban appeal were added to the car to reflect John Varvatos himself.

The Beats by Dre® Audio System was one feature that truly exceeded Ajay’s expectations. He said, “The bass was incredible, but high notes still came through clear. I felt as if the artist was sitting on my dashboard singing.” Although the dashboard cannot accommodate your favorite artist, it will deliver a listening experience that captures the essence of what was originally created in the studio.

After several days of cruising around town in his new ride, Ajay became increasingly aware that this wasn’t your average driving experience. “The 300 fit into my lifestyle very well. It had a youthful energy and a sense of “swagger” but still had the class and style of a mature luxury vehicle. I was more excited to run errands and make my morning commute because I felt like I was being pampered even when stuck in traffic. Most people spend a good portion of their day in a car, and being wrapped in luxury truly makes the experience more enjoyable.
