Sometimes a vehicle just speaks to you, tempting you onto dealer lots with styling that is uniquely different from anything else on the market. That’s exactly what happened to Robert W. of Sterling Heights, Michigan. Robert was impressed by the new Chrysler 300 when it first came out, and he finally bought his own 300 just recently. This week, it’s his story that we’re highlighting in our Real People, Real Stories series.
In the early 2000s, I first set my eyes on the newly re-styled Chrysler 300. Here was something completely new. I was stunned. What was I seeing? One thing I did recognize was…that I wanted to own one. That large checkered grille, the large wheel openings with bold eyebrows, a low stance and stubby rear quarter with a flowing roofline and wide sail panel—everything seemed to be in proportion. It was begging me to take it home. Unfortunately, it would have to wait more than a few years. However, here I am, three months into my new 2013 Chrysler 300 and I’m absolutely ecstatic. I’m 69 years old and I feel like I’m 19 again. I finally got it, and I don’t plan on giving it up anytime soon.
We don’t blame you, Robert. Thank you for sharing your story and also for the kind words about the Chrysler 300.
